Common questions followed by DesignGoat’s responses
Customer: Do you have time for a quick call?
DesignGoat: There is no phone contact, no video calls, no zoom calls, no meetings of any kind of that nature.
Customer: How will I receive my digital designs once they’re complete?
DesignGoat: DesignGoat will provide you with a time-sensitive link, within the DesignGoat domain, which will allow you to download any digital assets that you have purchased. This link will be shared with you at the end of a project cycle after you have signed off for project delivery.
Customer: Will you process our data?
DesignGoat: DesignGoat is an agency geared to deliver graphic design services. Some services (such as postcards) might require data to be applied to the piece(s), but that data will be used as received. DesignGoat will not alter the data in any sense. As a word of caution: If you plan to mail something that requires data then you should confirm that the data is as accurate as possible to avoid any financial penalties that might be incurred through your mail service provider. DesignGoat is not a mail service provider.
Customer: Could you please work with us through our project management tool? It’s online and all you need to do is create an account using an email address.
DesignGoat: DesignGoat will not be communicating through any medium other than the DesignGoat website and emails for all contact. You can initiate a service request at https://www.designgoat.me/start or by visiting https://www.designgoat.me/contact for general inquiries.
Customer: DesignGoat, can you mail these out for us?
DesignGoat: DesignGoat is not a mail service provider. Although DesignGoat can effectively apply mailing information to mailable designs, we do not offer mailing services. If you need to mail your finished pieces in bulk we suggest contacting a mailing center in your local area. These mailing centers will often offer a full-service package wherein their in-house team will design your pieces, certify your mailing data (using official postal software), and mail the pieces for you. Some centers might also offer post-mailing data analysis services that reveal metrics such as successful deliveries and response rates.
Customer: Do you offer email marketing services?
DesignGoat: DesignGoat will prepare the visual elements for your email marketing campaigns, but we will not prepare email list data or send out emails on behalf of your company.
Customer: Can we pay you extra to make our project your first priority?
DesignGoat: DesignGoat has a zero-tolerance policy for rushed or shortened project timelines. Though some work can take weeks or months, other service requests can be completed within days. For instance: a simple logo could take 2-5 days, while a brochure could take a week or more. The timeline for any given project depends entirely upon the scope of work. The full scope of work should be defined (to the best of your ability) in the compatibility qualification form. Once a service request has been accepted you will receive an estimated date [within your individualized proposal] as to when DesignGoat will be able to deliver the project. The project could be completed more or less by that date, and the only way to keep the process moving quickly is to respond to emails in a timely manner. For each day that a customer goes without responding to any messages from DesignGoat’s emails, that day will be added on to the estimated project completion date. For example, if a project was estimated to be completed by the 20th of the month, but a client did not respond to DesignGoat for 3 days in a row, then the project delivery date is extended and you should expect the project to be completed by the 23rd of the month. DesignGoat cedes all legal and financial penalties for violating deadlines due to such circumstances.
Customer: Do you accept cryptocurrency payment?
DesignGoat: No, DesignGoat does not accept crypto payments at this time.
Customer: I live in a different time zone. How is this going to work?
DesignGoat: It’s for this reason that DesignGoat asks for your location in our compatibility qualification form. This allows our team to properly schedule tasks around customers/clients living in various time zones. We will always make a coordinated effort to contact our customers/clients during their waking hours. You can expect us to reach out anytime between 6 am and 8pm according to your local time zone.
